New Keys Made for 2025 Ford Bronco Near University at Buffalo
We had a great job yesterday out near the University at Buffalo campus. Customer just bought a brand new 2025 Ford Bronco and needed extra keys made. You could tell it was fresh off the lot – still had the plastic wrap on the steering wheel and seats as you can see in the photos.
These newer Fords require some serious equipment to program. We set up our Panasonic Toughbook and connected through the OBD port to communicate with the vehicles computer system. The 2025 Bronco uses a PATS (Passive Anti-Theft System) that needs dealer-level software to add new keys. Lucky for the customer, we got all the right tools to handle it on site fast.
The job was done in a parking lot not too far from the UB North Campus. If you know that area, its pretty busy with students coming and going.
Programming took about 40 minutes from start to finish. We cut the new key key, programmed the transponder chip, and made sure the push-button start worked perfect. Tested the remote lock and unlock too. Customer was real happy they didnt have to take there new Bronco all the way to a dealership and wait around for hours.
